Aval Nannachathu/ Beaten Rice flakes/ Sweet Poha

** 1 Minute Recipe ** Gluten Free ** No Cooking **

Ingredients: 

  • Aval/ Beaten Rice/ Poha- 1 cup
  • Shredded Coconut- 1/2 cup
  • Jaggery/ Sharkara- 2 tbsps.
  • Elakkha/ Elaichi/ Cardamom powder- 1 pinch
  • Cumin/ Jeerakam powder- 1 pinch
  • Salt- As needed
  • Warm water- As needed/ 1/2 cup
* Optional- For Topping:
  • Cashew nuts- As needed
  • Raisins- As needed
  • Honey/ Sugar (**Only if you dont have jaggery, jaggery is naturally gluten free)
Cooking Time: 1 Minute

Recipe:
Step 1: Mix all the ingredients and wet as needed.

BONUS TIP:  This will also freeze well.

This tastes amazing with a ripe banana.
